In 2021, the "14^th Five-Year Plan" was officially released, which clearly identified "gene and biotechnology" as one of the seven frontier areas of science and technology. In 2022, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "14^th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Bio-economy", which clearly defined the acceleration of biotechnology to widely empower health, agriculture, energy, environmental protection and other industries, promote the deep integration of biotechnology and information technology, and comprehensively improve the diversification level of the biological industry. With the support of national policies, in order to further promote the rapid development of related scientific research and applications, the 2022 International Conference on Gene and Biotechnology, hosted by the China Biological Fermentation Industry Association and Yujia Conference, will invite industry experts and enterprise representatives to focus on synthetic biology and green biological manufacturing technology, biosafety key technology research, biomedical technology frontiers, genomics and genetics research applications, DNA and RNA research progress, vaccines, advanced biomaterials and nanomaterials, short brife introduction of hot/top industrial biotechnology articles and other topics through the combination of online and offline, paper drafts, science and technology exhibitions, poster display and other forms of exchange.
